Jamie Bartlett goes well beyond simple prompt tips and explores the deeper relationship people are starting to form with AI, from bias and sycophancy to over reliance, persuasion, and emotional entanglement. I found the discussion of how models can become highly personalised, and how that affects individuals, companies, and society, especially thought provoking. The final section on the ten habits for talking to AI is practical, clear, and worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone using large language models seriously.

    I’d been feeling overwhelmed as the world passed me by, with AI becoming such a common tool within my industry. I knew I needed to tool up, but didn’t know where to start. This book gave me context, stratagey, and some know how to incorporate AI into my daily life and I couldn’t be more grateful.     This book is an excellent overview of how to get the best out of interacting with LLM, and also watch out for the pitfalls. It’s pragmatic and concise, and also provides an excellent assessment from a broader perspective of potential consequences of the proliferation of the various models available. I particularly liked the inclusion of various prompts and responses from different models.
